This series was taken in New York City, 34th Street and 8th Avenue, seen just as I was crossing the intersection. The images are an homage to Aaron Siskind whose work I’v long admired. They are about my interest in the urban space, found objects, detritus etc. The urban landscape has its own unique beauty and serves to inspire my work as an artist. I’m also discovering the impact of joining images into diptychs and triptychs allowing the works to speak in unison.
