ABOUT THE ARTIST

I was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, and my educational background is in science and medicine. I have always had a passion for art, both painting and photography.

I photograph the "urban landscape" and consider my work in the genre of "street photography." My photographs emphasize visual mystery and the surreal, using the elements of black and white to create graphic, stark juxtaposition. I invite the viewer into a playful unknown and I explore the realm between reality and abstraction.

I combine traditional black and white film photography with digital printing, but I have also begun working with digital capture.

I collaborate with Singer Editions/Boston for all my archival pigment printing.
